Lovely bikes! Test rode one and was surprised how much I enjoyed it, not usually my kind of thing! I almost ended up getting one because my dealer couldn’t find me a Hyper. The up/down blipper is fantastic and the engine gives out a fantastic howl as you hit the midrange, reminded me a bit of the 959 Panigale’s wail...
Yes, I did a track day last year on the 959 and it reminded me too of the baby pani...only much comfier. However the pani was also surprisingly comfy.
959 was more practical than expected. Looking around and over traffic was a bit worse but I rode it 250 Miles in two days and it was all comfy enough, minus my inner right hand thigh being barbiequed!!!
