  3. the originals were tough, they went soft on the yellow fudge type stuff, before they disappeared.
     
  4. Trio bars!!

    What the hell happened to them, even loved the adverts.
     
  5. I got 2p per day to spend at the school tuck shop. You could get 8 jelly beans for that - so I did although sometimes it was 4 aniseed gobstoppers. They lasted an age.

    I would kill for horlics sweets
     
  7. My favourite sweets were Marathon bars and Opal Fruits. I can't believe they stopped making them.

  18. what I miss more than the products is that you can't just walk into a sweetshop and ask for a 1/4 of ???

    A: because there are no sweetshops, and for me the worst bit
    B: Nobody in the shop would know what a 1/4 was, and having to ask for anything in Grams just spoils it

    However there is always a last resort
