  3. Yes, and I was just pointing out that 'Communism' as operated by the USSR, China and N Korea is diametrically opposed to the ideas Karl Marx put forward 150 years ago. It has become a cliche to say that Marx was not a communist! The totalitarian tyrannies of communist regimes eventually fail utterly as political systems, maybe after a few decades of apparent success. But Marx's insight into the importance in society of ordinaty people, as opposed to leaders & elites, remains as true today as ever.

    Feel free to disagree with me, or insult me, by the way - that's what freedom of speech means.
