Taken Out On Hyper....ouch

That's swift service. Sounds promising. The NCX750 is an excellent bike for reminding you how good your bike is.

 

The NCX looks like a hyper. Neighbours won't know the diffence.

 

I always filter ... then one day a twat did a u-turn out of the queue. Car drivers don't expect bikes to be filtering ...

Fortunately ABS on my Multi saved the day!

 

No for sure , car drivers are not expecting bikes to be filtering ,,,,,, but bike riders should be ready for the car driver doine most stoopid of things !!!

I was ... grabbed an enormous handful and as I said would have come off/hit said twat's car of it hadn't been for ABS. However, it's not always possible to avoid twats. If the u-turn had been done seconds later I would have been alongside and shoved into oncoming traffic before I could have reacted. If it had been a lorry I would have gone under it. Having said that not many lorry drivers would attempt a u-turn out of a traffic queue. Taxi drivers and GPO vans, yes, but lorry drivers less likely I think.

 

I have noticed that ,,,, g p o vans always seem to be nipping on ....... And up here it is dingbro vans ( as i am sure finm will confirm )

 

Sounds like a badly designed / high risk junction.

 

when i worked in aberdeen the P+J often ran adverts for DINGers looking for "enthusiastic drivers"
