Thanks everyone for the pics and kindly words. Cashed in a flexi day today, not a huge amount of progress. I've bought a few of these titanium pinch bolts and they're really very, very nice! Got the oil lines shortened and fitted. Then fannied about with fairings....A LOT! I really, really, really hate farting about with bloody fairings!!!! The finish on this seat unit is fooking rubbish!
I'd originally bought a 50mm half system for this project (now for sale) but couldn't sleep at night thinking part of the system may be choked. Cruisers of ebay may have seem the full 50mm shark system for sale, well it was me that bought it. Never heard of shark before TBH, pretty impressed with the quality and fit. Although not that impressed with the heat shield, may have a go at modding it later. Just hung in place for trial fit, needs modding now!
Lots of work to do under that pretty dress but getting there. Sometimes with these projects you get buried in fault finding, wires, plumbing and detail :Banghead:....It's nice to hang the fairings on and remind oneself of the goal!
Nice. How much is it go get a welder round with kit for a job like that? If you don't mind me asking.
