Yet another magpie! I see loads of this bling anodised and stick-on carbon crap on bikes, and I honestly wonder why. Particularly the stick on top carbon stuff - so you didn't even replace the item with something lighter?!! Don't worry, you can always put them back in eBay next week once you have had your guilty fix! Think of it as an alcoholic falling off the wagon, and then realising the error of his ways and repenting.....
Probably not in the best position to comment here but faux carbon is a pet hate of mine... Proper carbon with a nice weave is stunning but this GRP coated crap is just nasty.. & As said above consistancy in finish (to me) is very important & this crap never matches....
oops! Walk away Hutch. Right now! no one will notice. You'll be alright, just kick it under the rug. You'll be OK. Honestly. Trust me, I'm a professional. Everything's gonna be fine. deep breath - hold.... hold.... - and relax. There! they've all forgotten. Now, just walk on. Quickly....and don't look back....
Coming from the guy with a blingy see thru clutch cover and anodised everything underneath, listen to him hutch, he knows what he's talking about :Wtf:
I might be going against the grain here but, if you're out, playing around with suspension then it is convenient is it not?
True nuff & to be fair I'm questioning all this... they arrived today & they aint bad.. darkish red finish.. not full on shiny shite like I was worried about... I dunno... ill post some photos tomorrow & yall can decide
I'd say they're handy....don't know much about suspension myself....I don't have preload adjusters, but they'd be handy for me if I went out for a ride and wanted to experiment. Just alloy or black for me. I like Oberon stuff....got a fair bit on mine....mostly functional apart from a bright blue pressure plate...love it...
HUTCH DONT LISTEN TO HIM...HE'S JUST ADMITTED TO COVER HIS BIKE IN THE SHITE!! Pmsl Friday night 1664 oh yeah
Yeah....the master cylinder which makes the clutch lighter and smoother is really shite.... I'd much rather have RSI....
Give me the stock clutch cover anytime...the bit I like the most about the ducati stuff is you can actually watch the paint flaking off....absolutely magical.
Seriously. I'd say from a functional point of view preloaded adjusters I think are a functional thing if, you're into messing around with suspension settings....if you don't then its bling... As you don't need it...
