I keep mine under the seat on my bikes. I had to show one to the police once and was told about the offence of not displaying it. I explained that I knew this but that I had one stolen years ago and now keep it locked under the seat to avoid this happening again. I explained that it's always available for the police to view, and as the constabulary do such a fine job with limited resources, I'm sure they have more important work to do than deal with my stolen tax disc. Fine avoided :tongue: Also, they are never parked anywhere when I'm not close by, so traffic wardens won't be a problem. I do display on the Vespa though as that does get left parked up sometimes.
I wouldn't touch a carbon tax disc as in ten years time theres a risk of my bolts corroding when its wet and i'd have to change them to stainless steel
