It has been known for some at the back of the grid just to go really and keep going...but at world level it may be deemed as intentional and a DQ follows. At club level you just take the 10secs and hope you have managed to make it up with a clearer track
Harsh yes but I'm honestly starting to think that more and more, I can't be alone in it. I'm not saying I won't keep watching, I'm just saying I'm not glued to the action as its easy to go for a piss or make a cup of tea without missing a thing. WSBK is much better, BSB takes a huge dump on it every race, I even recorded the first Italian road race last week and that was good viewing. Motogp has the bright lights and glamour but racing action it ain't, maybe 4 times a race, but I'd rather watch WSBK and see riders bunched up and banging fairings, running too hot in to corners, you know....having a race
Missed Moto 3, Moto 2 and Moto GP a bit uneventful really tho', except for Cal. Marquez is a class apart, despite what all the doubters say.
Lowes really unlucky but regrouped and took a few spots back after being on the floor And great to see some hard moves in all classes too...bradl and bradders hard a good few tough corners. There was only ever going to be one winner tho
Yes, but the guy who may get the better of both of them is Iannone. He was brilliant for much of the race, and in qualifying. I suspect we may see better things from his this season. I don't know quite what they've done to the Ducati, but he seems to like it.
did anyone ever doubt MM? lol... JL just finished the season... MM managing a 46 point lead after such a dominant performance... if he still knocks whole parts of seconds off on tracks he rode just for the second time on a GP bike, what's the rest going to do abbout him? He'll be posting on FB while riding next... i don't see much of a fight coming for the top spot... if this is the measure a new records to fall may be the 'first rider to have won all races of the season' and 'youngest racer to have won all races of the season' ... the mistakes JL made i hope will niot be indicative of a mental rut he's stuck into... must be shite to know that the chance you'll ever win another WC have been decimated by the coming of a pritty boy cute and charming kid... and that there is probably nothing you can do about it...
I can't see Rossi getting another season on the Yamaha, they need a reply to Marquez/Honda, and they can hardly ask Lorenzo to step aside. Chances are Jorge will have an Espargaro as a teammate next season. I wonder who'll be on Cal's bike at the next round? Is Moaner available..?
The Rossi debate will run and run. He may not be the quickest rider anymore, but he's the one that pulls in the fans and he's the one where the money is. Still. Give it two years and that will MM With his current form, Bradley really is making a great case for himself to get the factory ride. Go Brad
Brad won't get it though - for the reason you just stated - Pol Espargaro will attract more sponsors, so he'll be the one that gets the factory seat. Life is cruel sometimes.
Is there new info on this? I had understood that Cal had "just" dislocated his little finger and will be fine to ride in a fortnight in Argentina.
No, you're better informed than me Glidd. I was just going on what they said on telly immediately after the crash. My mistake, sorry.
