It's fair to say the bun lost structural integrity at about 25% consumption. The addition of a modicum of salad was probably the root cause leading to a loss of friction and possibly moisture ingress. Merv suggested a Tesco brioche solution which I must admit I'm sceptical of, preferring more a solid bagel option. My strategy of "stacking", comparable to tapping a deck of cards to straighten them definitely helped in the early stages.
Perhaps given the precipitation of rain caused the breaded structure to loose integrity, therefore causing a chain reaction of said failure of adhesion between the beef structure and the onions. Or it was because the intended handling procedures were ignored given that you were bl**dy hungry.
I needed at least one egg and Rykas won't do mushrooms either. Stuart was worse, he can't handle the complex engineering at Box Hill so went for cheesy chips at Bury, the delights of half a kilo of Maris Pipers chipped in lard with another half kilo of Cathedral City melted on top. The styrene bucket they are served in has better nutritional values. Sue took one look and said "you're going to die" which did lower the tone, even though his enthusiastic consumption didn't falter - top work.
Nice to see someone who ignores doctors orders!!! Did Chris per take in any condiments on the nutritional intake?
Chris (to Merv's obvious discomfort) loudly produced Lidl lemon cheesecake nibbles which may as well have been endorsed by Liberace. And apple pies.
How can we be seen as a ' Bikers club ' with offerings like that? We have standards to adhere to you know. Next thing is we can be encouraged to join the Harley boys gang !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We will be there before that (barbed comment from yesterday, Rob!!) Leaving in 30 mins. Should be there for 10.00
My planned ride out has been canx :frown: so im just going to mosey on down. If anybody's around i'll see you there...maybe
I think I saw you Count as you were leaving. Several other Ducatis that I say. A streetfighter, a few monsters, an 848 with gold fairing fasteners and levers, a red 1098s and a white 1199 being ridden by the police on a Bikesafe course
Fab turnout today ..... and massive thanks go the amazing Caroline for the totally delicious cake (so nice to see you out and about again - we missed you :smile. The photo does no justice to Caroline ... but the yummy cake did not survive to make the journey home ... thank you C!! Loads of utterly banal and idiotic natter - just as it should be!!! Lovely to see: Steve, Ron, Harry, Tony, Phil, Rob, Pete, Chris, Crystal John.... hope I haven't missed anyone!
