  8. consistent heavy rain here (6 miles from Box) for last quarter hour - wouldn't have minded but 2 bike covers had been blown off by the mini-gale* that preceded it


    *N.B. - not a motorbike

Can confirm Boxhill is the real deal, as frequented by quite a few of us always something going on up there or around, come ⛅️❄️☔️, that's the idea of a forum to see who's about, but precipitation and cyclonic strength winds have put me off even leaving the house let alone riding a motorcycle up there, and now you know its real why not pop down one day El ?

  17. still pretty dreary close to Box and random short bursts of heavy rain for 10 mins or so. I'm popping out for a run anyway so will see if anyone is daft enough to venture out later on

  20. Ok might go up there for a cuppa there's a narrow window 11-3 where they say its ok ish, then then getting wet and windy, tomorrow's weather looks foul
