Interesting J interestimg John I have a mt09 at the moment with 700 miles on clock, and it sounds like a different bike all together, engine is very snatchy and not at all smooth, one piddly indicator light which doesn't say which one is on, the switchgear is far too small, what would it be like in winter gloves ??? It also wants to wheelie when your avin it without too much provocation Maybe I've been spoiled with my uber creamy ZZR1400 that is just soooo smooth, I'd have my FZ6 S2 over this any day
I have the tracer version and it's great..a real mile muncher that goes like fook A lot of bike for the cash..really pleased with it
I really liked the bike Martin which was a surprise, nothing wrong with the wheelie aspect of it IMO. Switchgear far too small, can imagine that will be addressed soon. I took the BMW S1000r out last year, couldn't wait to get it back to the dealer, didn't like it at all.
Tried the Tracer on Saturday and also impressed but the Streetrally ticked more boxes for me despite the ill-thought out switch gear and the clunk from neutral to 1st which I think was just clutch drag on that bike. Ultimately it's only the styling and the endless addition of largely unnecessary plastic appendages that would stop me buying a bike like that.
So it was Phil and I who had a little play out today, went to Sue's for coffee and that is all, the Egon Ronay rating for this establishment is 2, no quality food apart from the offer of some dodgy cheese sandwich, coffee was good but the biscuits came just before we were walking out the door? Anyway I was promised an improvement in our next visit with the offer of a full luncheon. So is anyone going to box hill tonight as it is late opening??????
