the 'Anyone going to Boxhill today?' thread

Discussion in 'Rideouts & Events' started by Chris, Jun 30, 2013.

  1. get that deposit in now Martin (yes - saw the s.p.) :)

  2. So who is up for Box Hill then on Saturday? I think it will be dry?

  3. I am up for Sat or sun, but would prefer Sunday. The weather for both days is dry.
Went out today for coffee at Newlands and saw several other bikers also.

  4. Traditionally the meet is Saturday but as it can't even be held at Boxhill then I think we can go with the majority this time although will always keep 2nd Saturday in future as some D. owners pre-DucatiForum still turn up without looking at any thread plus it's quieter at the peak of any good weather.

How about Newlands this Sunday then? (will p.m. Lucasz re: Boxhill shut)

  5. Sounds good.

  6. Ok Newlands on Sunday, that means no hangover riding on Saturday yes

  7. Saturday weather looking better than Sunday at the moment so not ruling out a 180 deg here..

  8. Saturday looks way way better than Sunday, I might be tempted to bring the streetfighter out to play :)

  9. im about this weekend, would prefer the Saturday

  10. ps another nice place to have a cuppa is Fairoaks Airport

  13. well I was waiting for confirmation of a rumour of lemon drizzle which would decide which day for sure but yes, I am a 'Sunday' as I can't make it tomorrow now despite the excellent weather forecast. I was waiting for everyone else to decide - could be both days at this rate

  14. Happy New Year Y'All!

I'm back and up for a great year of riding this year :upyeah:

Onto the meet - Oasis Cafe - Christ no - that's in Sheerwater - we'll all get held up and our bikes nicked!!

I hear that the cafe at Fairoaks Airport (The Hanger Cafe) is quite good and does a wicked brekkie, but I've not been yet so that could be one to try....

I like the 'nice baps' quote

Newlands much better and loads of other bikes too, plus the view is awesome (depending on the weather of course!)

I can do Sunday, Saturday poss but would have to be after lunch for me......

@Chris - sorry matey meant to ring you over Christmas, how you doing?
