Coming from London along A3, take the Ripley exit and then 2nd exit on roundabout under A3. Keep going straight on for approx 2 miles and then turn left at roundabout with Shell/Little Waitrose petrol station. Keep going for around 3 miles, over traffic lights until you get to top of downs then turn right into car park.
I'm impressed! Bikers in general out in December is a minor wonder! I also want to visit Anderton's, in Guildford. However, having just checked local news, I am reminded that perhaps we up here should refrain from travelling right now anyway. Meanwhile I can confirm that the B1-B Lancers are off on another mission! ~05.00 appears to be their preferred time for flying over Cheltenham.
