I was so close to buying one new. Did the factory visit and talked numbers etc, but was too cautious to spend all that money and have little to no warranty back up, as they were "between" uk importers at the time.
Went to look at one of these years ago in Suffolk. Dealer had it up for around 34k if I remember correctly. Pig ugly but could stare at the engineering all day long. Just realised it’s name is quite apt in these ‘unprecedented’ times. (Vyrus)
Strangely ebough, I've never coveted this, even from new. I always knew it was out of reach from the off, so mentally ignored it.
Yes agreed but Rob owns or has owned most of these anyway! Desmo for me too, it’s a truly special bike
