I have 2 Ti road frames, my favoured material for a cycle. Had a couple of Ti MTB frames Pipedream’s, got a set of Pace Carbon forks on my 29 Kona Explosif.
My road bikes are carbon, love them, there are times I swear the Bikes are turning the pedals for me.
I’ve owned a couple of Carbons got a un-used Colnago frame in the loft can’t decide whether to build it or sell it.
The books by Landis and Hamilton are a very good read, very insightful as to the inner workings of the teams the Doctors and the coaches. I have a ‘friend’ who rode the TdF back in the early 80’s if he could only get round to writing his memoirs.......

monday night ride, left at 5;30 . Lights on for the ride back towards home . The seasons are on the change!
Did my first usual 10 mile circuit since "upset" and feels like a hurdle crossed, no pictures as had to get to ScrewFix to pick up small bottle of paintstripper.
Had a great day out in Hamsterley forest with the boys however some of the black runs were too extreme for me and my old Specalized !
The days are getting cooler,...little spin out on the mtb this afternoon Just as well I had some “ decent “ socks on !! Poucher
I got into MTB because it was deemed a safer option that provided a similar buzz to motorbikes... it definitely provides the thrill, but it’s not safer - here’s a picture of my shoulder today...
