  2. It had to be done R, I had eaten too much today so thank you for the nudge. I put two pairs of socks on and it was very difficult to cycle past the kebab shop just now.

  8. Was out on mountain bike yesterday, 33 mile in proper sub zero temps. Great riding though, trails were bone dry but hard. Not a great deal of ice but where there was some, it were thick and unrideable. Good ride out though....

  9. Project from the tip.
    The bike, not the car.

  10. Obviously a better class of tip than here in the East Midlands - good for a winter bike?

  11. That’s crazy! It’s better than the carrera I paid 22 quid for recently.

  15. A marketing term 'Gold' - just a case of semantics really :p

  16. No way, so it ain’t so a cycle not maintained.......outrageous, still a bargain though even the tyres are inflated.

Mate of mine got a high end steel framed Bianchi from his local tip for free, restored it and sold it on.

  17. Nice to get out today without any ice or biting wind! Almost shorts weather!

I think you did alright, still a lot better than mine and I had to buy seat and handlebar stems and pedals.

  19. Needs a bit of TLC and I think it needs head bearings.
    Don’t mind a bit of a project.

  20. Yarp - sure was. An 8 mile pre breakfast run this morning, partly along a very muddy canal path was good despite being a tad over dressed. Still good to get round with nothing dropping off for a change!
