Nothing wrong with starting off with full tanks, during hot weather that approach has saved many a heart attack I am certain.
Each to their own Nelson, I usually don’t drink much when I venture out. I only ever hydrated doing events but not for general riding. This is good advice, which I never heeded.
Got out this aft, over the moors.... Very quite ... Most pub refugees are wandering the canals ... Moorland bridleways are still quiet and sparsely populated, how we like it too...
Tbh I rode it on my hardtail and it rattled my bones but the full suspension bike was a pleasure to ride they are amazing machines.
