  1. Hehe Yes FC its certainly well decked out as a bone stock bike, but there are lots of things about it I am intending to change. Zorst for one is already in hand. Termignoni system sitting in a box waiting to go on. Really dont like the Akra wheelbarrow option. Rear sets will be changed as well. Suspension components won't escape some modifications either, plus a host of other parts transferred across from the previous bike. Also the span adjuster is a bit of a waste of time in my case and more than likely I'll remove it and replace the stock levers. The only other bug bear I have is matte carbon, so that's got to be addressed as well. As I mentioned elsewhere on the forum, this won't take nearly as long as my previous build but it will necessitate some comprehensive disassembly of the bike to get to all the bits I want to change. I've got some very trick new pieces to go on as well, especially for the suspension and tail section. Outwardly at least the bike won't end up looking too different to how you see it, just want to elevate those areas that let it down a little. It'll keep me busy over Winter in between work commitments.

  2. FYI… I was looking for a gloss carbon rear diffuser for my car. But only matte was available from Akrapovic. A clear PPF applied and hey presto- it’s gloss :D with the added bonus of being protected…

  3. Yes I've always got that option with for example the winglets. Funnily enough Tony James's PPF kit was delivered this morning, so that will be the one of the first mods the bike receives.

  4. Looks stunning mate :upyeah:

  5. Congratulations, a stunning bike. I nearly posted up this that I snapped at my local dealers on Wednesday but didn’t want to spoil the reveal.

pictures just don’t do it justice, it’s one of those bikes you could stand under the tele in the front room and just stare at it.

  6. Yes it's very much more of a surprise when you see it with your own eyes rather than in photos. That bike you snapped isn't mine but some other lucky soul's.

  7. Looks a real beauty. Unfortunately you’ll have to ruin those lovely looking lines with a pair of wanky looking mirrors… unless it’s to become a track whore :imp::imp::imp::D

  8. Is that Bournemouth?

  9. Have seen one of these in the flesh... they look brilliant and so much more so than the pictures! :) Lovely machine and only slighty envious...

  10. Looks like it. Says it on the bike sticker. Not that I’ve been there.

  11. Fear not FC, the mirrors will be coming off in due course. Not sure whether to go with the stealth mirrors with my mblaze bar end indicators or DB race mirrors. I've got plenty of time to ponder. For now, as I said just waiting to have the PPF kit fitted and I'll throw on the radiator guards and tail tidy and it's then rideable. I've a lot of boxes of parts that came off the S. Just need to decide which I'm going to refit when Winter arrives.

  12. Yes it is (although they aren’t actually located in the town)

  13. I was looking at a pair of those Rizoma stealth mirrors on a Pani V4 SL. They did look pretty cool and nicely made but as is the norm on a doocardi, I doubt you’ll see much in them!

  14. Good view of your elbows apparently! Nevertheless better looking than the snail's antennae that come as standard.

  15. Yeah I just recognised as I keep popping in. Was looking at the FE for a while and then the Pani R they have..

  16. That’s beautiful, I’m very jealous.

  17. That’s beautiful Rod, absolutely stunning.
Apart from the bits you’re going to fit I wouldn’t be pulling that to bits. It’s perfect as it is.

  18. Yes it's a lovely looking thing. I'll see if I give in to temptation or not over the Winter....chances are I'll cave in, though I will add I don't plan on changing the scheme, so outwardly at least it wont be a huge departure from what you see here. Just some refinements where I think the bike can be improved. For now I just want to enjoy it over the Summer.

  19. Mirrors are not a MOT requirement so you can leave them off , keep the throttle open and look over your shoulders lol
