Gaskets are OEM. The de-cat pipe is a genuine Termignoni, that's why I'm guessing a different type of manifold is required for the Termi de-cat pipe. These examples are from a deep-rump 999s, not 749. Pipe has been returned anyways, going down the gutted OEM pipe route.
Then I'm at a loss, my 999S is a deep sump model with an OEM horizontal manifold and OEM horizontal pipe. The only think I can think of is that the Termi pipe I bought was for a Gen2 999 ?
The Termi de-cat pipe fits on the original header piece. But the header pieces are obviously different for deep and shallow sump engines, as are the de-cat pipes.
Then from the photos in https://www.ducatiforum.co.uk/threa...rizontal-de-cat-link-pipe.81902/#post-1737261 would you say the de-cat pipe I had was from a Gen2 999 and not Gen1 ?
The one on the left looks like a deep sump pipe, one on the right looks like a shallow sump one. The deep sump pipes go to the left of the engine a bit more to clear the sump.
