2002 748E bought used in 2005 2013 Ducati 848 Evo bought new 2014 Panigale 899, bought less than 600 miles and spec’d out. Shouldn’t have sold this..fast bikes borrowed it for a feature hence the picture 2011 848 Evo bought used in 2018 and just traded it in.. And now, with no chance to ride it..
2008 - I had a new 1098S at 22 years of age. Best front end ever, I just loved it. My insurance was £2,800 for that....sold it 18 months later, losing a massive amount of money on it. My local ducati dealer was a condescending piece of shit and said “Is your dad paying for it?”, just because I was young skinhead. 2017 - Multistrada S - 2015 model. I’ve done 400 miles on it. 2019 - V4S 2018 model. Done 250 miles on it so far. My 1098S was my first Ducati love and it was a special year as my dad died only a few months before. I almost want to find it again and buy it back.
Don’t believe in garage queens in order of how good they were Ducati 749R - still got it Panigale 1299 with KTech suspension upgrades and BST Rapidtek carbon fibre wheels - still got it Ducati 749 mono with Ohlins shock and Bucci slipper clutch - sold in 2009 Ducati Monster S2R 800 Ducati Desmosedici- has the potential to be great but lacked development. 2 full engines, a rebuilt engine and it was still shit. You know you are screwed when you have coolant in your oil from porous bores
