  2. Oh yes… :D

  3. My Son, who is football daft, is so excited for the Euros, especially England winning it. I’ve tried to temper his excitement by telling him my own experiences of supporting England over the last 40 years. I suppose he’ll have to learn the hard way.

I am English but I can’t be bothered to watch or support them anymore, too painful. At least we were in a final last time, first England final I’ve ever seen

  4. love international tournaments three games a day for the next three weeks what’s not to love etc..
I am in the anyone but England camp though. Never associated myself with the team or their gammonati 10 German bomber whining small time supporters.
Hope your boy enjoys it and get him a sticker album!!!

  5. Best we can hope for under this defensive clown is a 1-0 win. And it’s a very big hope… I can see no home countries thru the groups…

  6. And what an offensive, forward thinking ‘let’s go win!’ Game that was :poop:

  7. What are Scotland doing there really. Didn't they vote against independence anyway ? but still on the world stage as a independent country - somehow. Don't know how that works.

Anyway, they got a red card on the opening game and let in 5 - their 1 goal was an own goal by a German player and the 6th goal was offside by the length of someone's big toe.

These things have to be said.

  8. My lad watched the whole game at work well what he could during quiet patches. Said Scotland played like a bunch of 7 year olds…..

  9. Nah, England should go through. Win it? Unlikely, we never do. Always a decent team but never the finished article.

  13. Bavarian Police concerned for the whereabouts of 11 Scottish footballers who went missing at approximately 8pm in Munich city centre. It has been noted similar incidents have occurred previously in between
1954 to 1998 across the world. However following the pattern of previous disappearances police are confident they will be back in Scotland within 10 days

  15. My only interest, or more possibly concern, in the Euros centres round the fact that we've managed to book ourselves a 5 night break in Munich in the middle of them. The good news is that there are no matches in Munich whilst we are there.

  16. German Police have confirmed they are selling reduced alcohol beer for the England Serbia game. So there will be thousands of pissed England fans then, as it’s probably still twice as strong as the crap they sell in English grounds.

  17. I got Covid at the perfect time to watch Germany beat Scotland, they could have done that as a 5 a side team. Croatia v poor offering no threat. Italy didn’t show us too much, but I think when push come to shove they are good. On paper England are good too, we all hope for the best. My only wish is why the sport drags out the worst in our and some other societies. I support Arsenal, I don’t hate any other club at all, many find that strange. World would be a better place if more thought like me. At Rugby wall fans are mixed together, we get chatting to opponents, have a laugh and buy each other beers.
