  9. Sounds about right to me tbf…

Pays yer money and all that. A top paint job looks the absolute nuts. It’s expensive but is by far the best look imo… but it’s a bit stressful after your PJ has gone through the gravel… doh!o_O

  10. Not a fan of the new bike, the front looks bad and the DSS arm looks wrong on a Duc.

  11. Not a fan of wings, not convinced they give a road bike any additional downforce, other than that it looks great

  12. I don’t really think these bikes make much sense on the road anyway, wings or not. I certainly don’t buy them for the road.

  13. Yeah I know what you’re saying but I’ve had more than my share of very quick sports bikes on the road so I won’t judge others. Now I’m older I’ve come to my senses so look at bikes differently.

  14. The funny thing is that when I was young a litre bike would try to kill you just for looking at it, and they had ‘only’ 130-150hp. The 750s were a sweet spot. Now they are over 200hp and easy to ride (easier than those old litre bikes I mean).

  15. Yeah that’s for sure, there were some smaller bikes that were deadly, the Kawasaki H1 500 wasn’t called the widow maker or ditch finder for nothing.
Yes the modern bikes are so easy to ride but they’ll do nearly 200mph which is asking for trouble on the road

  16. I believe the gentlemen's agreement between the manufacturers was 187mph ,which is still asking for trouble !

  17. Yeah 186.4 to be exact or 300km/ph
But not too difficult to get round

  18. 186 is just the speed at which mine stops telling you how fast you are going. Beyond that it displays "---". If you have the EVO software update it continues to read beyond 186.

  19. I’ve just noticed that the track fairings appear to be around 50% more than I paid at a Ducati dealer in January 2023 (EU). The cost of plastic must’ve gone through the roof.

  20. Around 5 years ago my 959/1299 kits were just under £500 and about 6 months ago I paid around £750 for the V4 kit. I think for the 2025 they are quoting just over £1,000... However other items (wheels) seem significantly cheaper.
