  2. I suspect the market for high end sportsbikes is very very small these days.
Add £10k to the price and say it’s limited edition and you can sell less and make more profit.

  3. Is the Speciale still considered special...:D

  4. Oh shit.

  5. Of course... it has an extra e on the end so it must be.

  6. Yep amazed at that, especially with Alvaro running that livery in the final race of the season.

  7. It is to me but it's really only a v4s with a nice paint job and some tasty dp accessories. The plaque is a nice try but the 3d printing isn't the best.

  8. £37 grand……£37 big ones…………I think I would rather spend £37 grand on…

Either a new V4S Streetfighter or Multistrada Grand Tourer …… that’s £23,500 gone
    Then a second hand 899 / 959 / V2 track bike , that’s another say £9,000 gone
And that would still leave me £4,500 to spend on foreign track days, beer, hookers, …or just waste it :upyeah::D

  11. And you would have far more fun blowing the £37 grand like this, rather than spending it on a debatable Panigale “ Speciale” that would be bought and never ridden probably

  12. We're all different!

  13. Sell 100 Panigales at £24k or 64 at £37k and make the same profit?

  14. not to mention the overhead reductions afforded by logistics savings and lack of warranty risk

  15. all sold within 3 days!

  16. There are indeed some suckers out there.

My 2007 1098s is very special to me. That’s all I need, not this latest and greatest replica/tribute/anniversary wank that gets put in someone with more money than senses kitchen, to be passed to folk of a similar ilk (maybe at a profit) and barely turn a wheel under its own power, ever. How sad.

  17. I think whether the bike is ridden or not is less a function of the cost and more that of the inclination of the owner. Some people just seem to buy cars and bike to either gawk at (or revel in others gawking at) or for speculation. Whilst it's a free country it's those people that, IMO drive the prices up and deprive people that would really enjoy the vehicles from being able to do so.

  18. Seems putting 'Limited Edition' on any Ducati makes some men open their wallets without any problem. Its no wonder the prices jump so much each time.
