Yes Mrs May’s contribution was very funny.I thought Starmer’s presentation came across very well too.His words were very warm and he demonstrated an affection for the Queen that surprised me.
Sad loss, sad for our nation. She put Britain on the map in my opinion. Who else has shown such dedication to their job for so much time as she? She’s now off to bend Phillips ear. R.I.P Ma’am
It feels strange, for the vast majority of us she has been that constant throughout our entire lives, obviously she wasn’t going to carry on forever and this time was coming but it’s going to take some getting used to.
I was very saddened by her passing, but am already 'comforted' watching the new king already carrying out his duties. Imagine having to be publicly happy in your new role, the day after losing your mother. Maybe the familiar face of King Charles III takes away grief for many of the nation?
They’re saying that no monarch of the UK has reigned longer, has there been any other in the history of the world that has? The love and respect that she gained from all over the world makes her not only the Queen of England, but the Queen of the world, in my opinion.
To be clear.... I do know Putin is a complete criminal nut job. But.......will he be invited/ask to attend HRH's funeral? Personally I'd put money on the Russian state asking/assuming he'll get an invite. If he does then get invited.... Russia score points. If they answer is "you're not welcome" ........ they still score points.

I've never been a fan of the royal family and I'm still not. I thought I'd feel not a lot or somewhat ambivalent on the passing of the Queen. But, in truth, i feel quite somber and a bit sad (which surprises me). We've lost a real national institution, someone that really did give a life long service. The next monarch(s) won't command the feelings that the Queen has (surprisingly for me) got. If i lived anywhere near the journey the Queen makes over the next few days, I'd certainly turn out, doff my cap and pay my last respects. RIP Ma"am..... You did a sterling job
Certainly a defining moment in our history. Ever more etched into our minds by the sheer scale and intensity of media coverage and dare I say it, somewhat more intrusive at times than I feel it should or perhaps has the right to be, in this increasingly news driven climate. HM Queen Elizabeth was a key figure in this nation's long and historical past. A remarkable achievement to have served her country for such an incredible length of time. A debt of gratitude is owed by us all, for her sheer dedication to her role and to all the Sovereign States she presided over. A very hard act to follow, for anyone, not just the incumbent King.
I was touched by the gentleness of these young men as they moved the Queens coffin from the gun carriage and into Westminster
