  6. just seen it on the news, loads up north, got f'all down here, just been raining and a bit chilly

  8. It's finally stopped snowing here for the first time in about 40 hours :smile:

    and I have three patios, so that should keep me warm...

  16. Still a foot on the roads around here not seen a snow plough yet, looks like another day at home tomorrow. It is starting to thaw though!
     
  17. Snowing still this morning, although only really a flurry. Roads flooded on top of flooding.

    I am now beginning to consider selling the bike. It has now been off the road since October, not just snow, but local flooding and only having 48 hrs to myself a week.

    At best, and assuming October is the cut off again this year and April is the earliest start date, I will get 40 days to get out on the bike this year (four weekends already booked up). That assumes I do nothing else and the flooding clears up.

    My reluctance to ride in the wet is down to age and not having the time to do a proper clean on the bike after each ride out.

    Sorry to be a moaning old woman, but am getting frustrated at being trapped inside.
