The Very Worst In Customer Service - Stickers

Discussion in 'Lounge' started by MrAliT, Jul 4, 2014.

  1. In reality I think the marines are a good bunch of chaps. In my experience they've always been intelligent, hard working, fearless blokes. A higher class of chap than most enlisted men. The Airborne were the same, but with a little less smart and a little more mean. 12 and two 6's really.

  2. Not wanting to get into a disagreement mate but you haven't served in the forces have you? your statement is open to debate...as with all cap badges there are good and bad, Marines and Paras are no exception

anyway the OP wow stunned at the blokes response, can't find anything about him running a race team at all..personally I would be visiting his place of work to show him how thick us servicemen are by thrashing him to within an inch of his life, makes me sick

  3. Glad to see the hundreds of thousands we tax payers invested into your training is well used then :upyeah:

  4. is that aimed at me braider? if so I have been a civvies for 12 years now and if I was still serving I am sure that even in todays armed forces there are still NAFFI breaks

  5. I was under the impression that ping pong ding dong was until v v recently serving, does that change anything?

  6. not for me mate, but in fairness he does say 'in his experience' and I did put it as a question
i have also had mostly good experiences with having spent time friends from both cap badges

  7. Well, let's swing the pendulum the other way. I ordered a complete set of decals from moto-sticker.com in Bulgaria. For £60 I got every single decal for my CBR 600 (about 30 decals) , superb quality, well packaged in an extremely stout cardboard tube (including diagram of what goes where and a free squeegee) and arrived in about 5 days. Customer service was spot on and the product amazing.

Remind me again......why buy British? I seem to have forgotten.

  8. Sounds like there are good days and bad days then :)

I have to say that the original email from the buyer was overly 'assertive'. It was poorly written as it wasn't asking for a resolution, just saying he'll never use them again. I'm sure a better written message would have got a more positive response.

  9. Absolutely, arguing with the people who can resolve your problem is only ever going to come back and bite you in the arse.

  10. Totally, wait til after then slag em off ;)

  11. I'm empathising with the seller to be honest. Obviously we can't see the quality of the stickers, but it looks like the postie fucked them up and the buyer is ranting at the seller for it.

  12. Maybe the seller should have packed them properly in the first place, then none of the nastiness would have developed.

  13. You get the impression the buyer would whine about a whore sucking him off and not swallowing tho...

  14. You order some stickers for £30 which probably have to be made up especially for you (so not that expensive, given the work involved).
They are poorly packaged in a standard envelope which sustains some damage in the post.
    Do you:
    A) Politely point out that they were damaged in the post (if they were) as the packaging was not really up to snuff and can the seller replace the damaged items FOC?
    B) Berate the seller for his poor packaging, the unreasonable time he has taken to fulfil your order (10 days - it's not for a new kidney, is it?), and inform him that you'll never buy from him again and discourage everyone you know from doing so?

Seems to me that some people just create problems all by themselves.
Seller was a wee bit over the top in his communications, though....

Still, it's all entertainment for us, innit?

  15. I've ordered hundreds of decals online, and they all arrive in envelopes, there's nothing unusual in that at all.

  16. I ordered some Ducati forum stickers they were rubbish, couldn't see the forum bit, they came in an envelope and they were expensive. I complained to the seller he threatened to shoot my dogs, then he was seen leaving the country on a Yamaha R1 (wtf does he know about ducatis?) and I have heard he has retired to Afghanistan on the proceeds of this heinous crime, however watch out for him, he is a cunning one even changed his name on the forum to his favoured sexual act.

  17. I remember that guy. I've bought over two billion decals from him with no problems at all.

He was a great fellow and he shot my dogs at no extra charge.

Are you sure you were polite enough and offered him a reach-around?
