hi hi there, yea i was going to put the bike in the for sale section later when i take some pics, but if your interested ill pm you them,, its a red 848, 09 plate, 9985 miles, no prev, owners, full cat 1 red datatool alarm, full r,g faring protectors and on wheels, = lots more, but it has slight crack on rear left hand side just over a inch which i tried to fill up and a 1098s left fairing on,and a new tab on nose fairing which when the side is on you cannot see still looks stunning, hence the price
Had a great ride on saturday about 400 miles. Got to know the bike a lot better. Absolutely love it. the topic of clutch covers, what do you think about this one? Its aluminium so should provide little drop protection even though its small. Thoughts? http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=171033037644
Few more photos taken on saturday. These are real non touched up pictures so yes there is some dirt on the bike...
Soo..... Not claiming to be a master at this... but I decided to photoshop this in to see what it looks like, tell me what you think but I think it's actually not bad, seems it would protect the clutch from my foot, and open it up. Also thinking of adding a ducati performance sticker on bottom of the fairing, what do you think? I've seen this on another bike and quite liked it. 2 pictures, 1 bike now, 2 photoshopped bike after, comments?
Nice work with photoshop. Decal looks good. The clutch cover is another matter. Seeing as it fixed on only 3 points I fear it would shear from the clutch housing in an off. clutch covers aren't there to protect your foot, but to protect the clutch assembly in a road/bike interface moment. if you going for an open type, look for a half cover (180' mounting points) at the very least. Carbon 180'/half covers are crap at protecting too.
My view on rim tape is that it ought to be mirrored by a couple of other touches on the bike of the same colour, otherwise it just looks.... odd. I have the blue adjusters on my Pazzo levers, and of course the blue adjusters on top of the forks, so I added blue rim tape. So if you go for red tape, try and find a couple of red bolts or touches to add to it. The good news is that black goes with everything, so you have as much choice as you want for rim tape. Gold could look good with gold lever adjusters. Whatever.
Why don't you just paint that design on your silver clutch cover and save a few quid. It will look just as good, honest
Hate to start another battle of opinions, but dang, those HID lights look sweet... maybe just for the main beam? Anyone tried fitting the HID conversion?
Same as others, the DP stickers look good but not the clutch cover. There was some clutch covers and pressure plates being sold by Spareshack in their clearance.
im selling a carbon clutch cover for 30 quid + postage. its as new as I put my slipper on. it does look nice
This is the "cheap" open one I have, fit's perfectly. I got mine a bit cheaper as an auction. Gold Ducati CNC Billet Clutch Cover For ST2 ST4 s Multistrada 1000 1100 CC17 | eBay
