  2. That was a shock but what a second goal by Saudi? If that was Messi, Kane or any other super star it would be replayed and replayed over and over. Great goal, goal of the tournament so far

  7. To be fair, after 27 years in a prison cell, much of it in solitary, Mandela did know a fair bit about the inside of a penalty box.

  8. That arse Gianni will have to go straight after this event is won. His disgraceful speech and fines / yellow cards for armbands is too much. Smug arrogant barstardo imo.

  13. I start every tournament wanting all the Home Countries to do well. I have a lot of friends that are Welsh and Scottish and a few Irish & I always feel for them. However by this stage of the tournament, any tournament, i’m always thinking the same thing; stuff them and I’m glad we’re the only ones through again.
You have arses like Kiefor Moore, who despite sharing my surname and being born and bred in England and playing for an English club, somehow manages to be Welsh and feels the need to say out loud what a joy it would be to be part of the team that sent England home & I find out today that some friends of my Scottish friends who repeatedly moan about the economy and the government and being part of the UK, took themselves over to Qatar, not to support that team (who weren’t there of course because they’re crap) but simply to go to the England games to cheer on the opposition.
I’ll try & remember this next time.

  14. You have some odd sounding friends. I can't imagine how daft a person must be to go to Qatar to cheer on anyone -much less the one that smashes them off the pitch with the regularity of a Swiss clock!

  16. I used to have a mate from Wales but his constant English hating rants got boring so we're mates no more.

  17. Much of the hate within the British Isles comes about because of a twisted sense of inferiority.

  20. Not from our inherent class system who’s main objective to divide oppress and conquer?
Keeping the hate alive keeps the proletariat busy,,, a bit like soccer ball.
