The World Cup In Qatar (no Spoilers Yet)

  1. The football from the Japanese was impressive with a win against Spain.Their defending for such long periods was amazing. There have been such surprises in this World Cup and who could have predicted that Germany would be ousted at the group stage.

  3. I’ve been to Wales countless times, does this mean I can play for them too?

  4. Only if you’re competing against the opposition otherwise it’s no.

  5. Don’t worry, I’m English and would never entertain the thought of playing for another country. Am I allowed to say I’m English? Or must I be British because I’m English?

  6. I’ll reply better this time.

If you’re the better player than some of the other contenders then yes you could play for Wales.

You’re allowed to say whatever you like within reason, no you don’t have to say you’re British.

  7. Sad news

  8. That Haji Wright goal where he chipped the keeper with a back heel has to be either the greatest or luckiest ever scored :bucktooth:

  9. Lucky in my opinion. But, you have to be in the position to be lucky

  10. Pure fluke, however a goals a goal.

Lifted from Twitter a great attitude from a soccer super fan

USA eliminized as the Scandinavian take the three points. A humongous shock, but soccer’s comin on home in 2026 so we’ll probably go get those world championship rings that time out which will be way neater than winning them in whatever this place is.

  12. Satire, some were taking his posts seriously on Twitter during US time in the WC.

  13. Ah sorry it was too early in the day for me!

  14. Your reply was mild, the amount of England fans taking him serious was hilarious.

  15. I always state I'm English, I was born in England which happens to be part of Great Britain.
I can't see the Scottish, Irish and Welsh arguing over that.

  16. All right, all right… I won’t write this twice.

What about a France-England game in the quarter-finals, hey?

Come on England!!! You’re having Sénégal for dinner tonight !!!

  19. Hopefully be a decent match.

Hopefully England play well enough to equal France’s tally of winning the Coupe du Monde.:)
