I wanted the Germans to win. I'm fed up with hearing how Brazil is one big fucking party and that if you are a footballer born in Brazil you are ipso facto brilliant. The Brazilians deserve the World Cup because they are organising the thing (like the South Africans, then), they are all football mad, and they have already won it 5 times so it's really theirs anyway and they just loan it out to other countries periodically when the mood takes them. There's something vaguely smug about Brazilians and football. Or there was. Not any more. Dankeschön. Every World Cup hosted in South America had been win by a South American team. I'm a European and I'm happy to see Europeans winning.
The Germans are the last national team in the world I want to win it. I hate them. (as ive said, only the footie team so relax, normal Germans citizens I have no issues at all with. Nice people. But their Football team drives me nuts) Now I will be rooting for Argentina. I wanted Brazil to win because for no other reason that they were the hosts and its nice for the locals. The only time I will root for a German football team is if they are playing Man Utd. Or Everton. But the latter is hugely unlikely as theyre a bunch of shithouses.
I haven't read any of the previous posts in this thread, because it's factually inaccurate . THE World Cup is on in 2015 in your own country, but don't get your hopes up :Angelic:, the All Blacks will take it again.
