  1. someone smashed up my 911 years ago in a car park then drove off, I called police and they said its not a criminal matter and I should ask the people who run the car park for CCTV etc then press charges myself. . . . .

that was the moment I gave up on police.

  3. It seems every time something is invented to improve the security of our prized possessions the criminals manage to turn those inventions against us. I read the other day of a few people who had found trackers attached to their vehicles who had not bought them theirselves. One chap found one on his driveway after it had fallen off the underside of his van and the owner of a powerful sports car noticed one hidden on his car when he was cleaning it. It seems that because of the cheapness of these trackers and the inexpensive and non traceable nature of actually using them is attracting thieves to plant them on your vehicle to track it to where you live or leave your vehicle unattended so they can return later to steal it !!.

  4. Yep...also its very easy to locate where a tracker is located ( it is a carrier signal like Sat Nav so you can DF it...Directional Finding, even easier as it RX data from Satellite)...so basically they know exactly where your bike is at ALL times much like you do with the GPS data to safeguard your bike. Unless you have British Army Electronic Counter Measure equipment, which I highly doubt the average Joe does! then anyone can track you and you wont even realise it.
