Same happened to me last week Literally opened the garage door to get something out and seconds later a dodgey van pulls up my house so I instantly shut the door. Some bloke gets out says 'don't worry mate I'm not going to nick your nice bike' offers to jet wash my drive (I live in a brand new house!) and he buggers off without bothering any of the neighbours... I've got 2x ground anchors and chains and alarmed garage linked to the house and a good roller door. There's only so far you can go.
