How come there so much loved model now, and all i ever heard (over the years) how much ppl hated them when they came out...
i agree with you on the later models of 749 999 with extra front vents missing, but i have early edition...
I was also thinking that series bike got absolutely slated, the designer needed stringing up etc etc I'm astounded how this has changed round, however I also remember gold and black srad 750's been slated but now look fantastic amongst many others I guess, funny how time changes opinion, another reason to be careful what you sell it might be very difficult to get back when your opinion changes or you are not blinkered by fashion...imo
Funny, i think the later revision is a 100% improvement on the original. I have black one and regularly give it a little kiss when nobody is looking.

Makes me think of our electrician .. was at the opticians having his contact lenses checked ( you end up taking them out during the test and throwing them away ) when he went to pay at the end the lady said just pop your card into the machine and put your details in while I get your paperwork.. when she came back he said I can’t get my card in the machine there seems to be something wrong with it! She replied, um, that might be because your trying to put your card into my calculator! I would have found this tale of his woe hilarious but he was wiring our fuse board at the time.
