I saw less than the first minute, then fast forwarded to the end, expecting to see him in a wall or side of a car. Disappointed, as I didn't see either.
i clicked funny but it wouldn't be for the peeps the had to scrape/clean it up... man i sound like my dad...
just dropped a couple of Tramadol and have opened a bottle of red so nap time soon for sure... (and here is me judging others...) wadayagunnado...:Muted:
Those describing this as an incredible feat of riding wouldn't be saying that if this idiot killed one of their loved ones.
incredible? when i took my 748 bp to the IOM in 09 i was on the rev limiter non stop over the mountain.. mind you i was in 2nd all the way... dam red wine is kicking in.. as per
Very low millage KMH clocks makes them nice and identifiable. If you feel the need to ride like that it should be done Sunday at 6am. And still not in a built up area.
it is a shame about the location and lack of giving a fuck about others as that would have been a good vid and as someone stated before the 748 sounds great and shows ya dont need a big thumper to have a blast.
I live very close to these roads and most of them are not built up areas. First part of the vid is the road to shardlow and back, then he heads to ticknall after going over swarkstone bridge. All open roads in my opinion and hes not pushing really hard, still braking early and not getting the power down until hes out of the bends. I think people are getting excited about what looks nothing more than a good blast out.
I think we're all agreed the guy is an absolute cock for some of the ill-advised riding displayed in built up areas, which rather lets down the spirit of the thing itself. As already commented it sounds glorious and goes to prove that you can have a whole heap of fun on a 748. 748's - ride em like a 2-stroke ...
perhaps you are right.. after reviewing it only the first 30 secs of him are really in a built up area where kids could run out the rest is in semi rural setting where there are no houses or driveways and no poss of kids and even if there was they would be country kids and they can run faster.
hmm a yellow one too. A cock in the built up areas, fine everywhere else. Everyone with a ducati should do the rural fast stuff.
I was thinking that it is fairly obvious that he knew the stretch of road rather well,, also it would be somewhat naïve to imagine that he has not done similar things before and will obviously do so again , so is he just very very lucky or does he have a certain ken to what he is doing ?, if anyone thinks it is just luck then they should maybe contact him and get him to advise on next weeks lottery numbers ....
the skill or knowledge of the roads are not luck.. the fact that a car, truck or tractor has not pulled out of any one of the blind/concealed exits/driveways that he was bimbling past is.
If anyone doesn't understand this they really shouldn't be on the roads riding a bike. When this idiot rides into the side of a car at warp speed he will no doubt blame the driver for pulling out in front of him, he will be wrong, assuming he is still alive.
