  1. dont get me started on brexit.

to be fair you hit the nail on the head with me,

no im not normal, far from it, and a few have said i should of been a politition with my answers and discussions,
i see it as a compliment.

  2. And most Ducati dealers in America too ;) do your research, thought you came on here for advice? Don't dismiss Ducati independents in your area as most are fully trained ex Ducati Mechanics, or even Ducati Race team mechanics who set up on their own :upyeah:

  3. i came on for advice, i got that and a fun 'debate' too.

but im also never silly enough to be told somthing once by somone online and take it as gospel

obtaining the same information from multiple sources is the way to find fact.

and wait. you are american? sorry i didnt mean to hurt feelings saying i think your american, i completly understand that you would rather keep that quiet here.
im proud of you infact, well done you for driving/riding somthing manuel! or how would you say, 'with a stick' as the correct term america struggles with i think.

but like years ago when you mixed up rugby with football. and just couldnt adjust correctly to the real names.

p.s as a disclaimer, i dont mean this im joking around with you, as i wouldnt want you to sue my ass, or pop a cap in my ass [emoji12]

  4. not a bike mechanic, car. but i get what yer saying. i only fit gates on cars tho others are available. i just wont fit anything else.

  7. At last some sense :upyeah:

  8. no. about 70+vat over if your using good quality stuff. the ST models can use oversize disks that are a bit more pricey but still way out.
    quickfit or dealer?

  9. Do you have a local motor factor such as Andrew Page?

  10. Maximum respect for anyone who plows their own furrow, you and Harrison Ford, Flin :upyeah:

  12. Local bloke.
    £32+vat for pads
£67+vat for discs (max). he said these were the biggest/most expensive but wanted to look at mine as wasn't sure on my size.
    1 hour at £50+vat
So, actually £170 inc vat if biggest disc, which it won't be as 1.6D.

  13. I think he meant for the parts - finm would add 10 hours labour as he's always on here - so it would actually take that long :)

    • Thanks Thanks x 1
  16. bare that in mind now that i am away to give you the cost price
    pads £19.20
disks £ 22.03 each, thats the good quality stuff plus vat.

  17. Buy them and fit them yourself - it's a dam sight easier than fettling a Ducati :Finger:
