  1. They look like a good idea. I bought a reflective visor for one of my lids, which got a stone chip on it. I reckon these would protect visors from stone chips.

To those that use them, do you just chuck them out when they get covered in flies, or can you clean them with visor cleaner?

  2. Yes bud you can zip em off and clean em no prob, bit of glass cleaner:upyeah: I’ve always used them, racing, trackdays and on the road, racing is the only time I’d rip em off and chuck em ,on the road I just fit one not loads even though they’re cheap enough! I’m turning in to Micky the miser so if it gets a bit dark I whip it of and in my rucksack for another day!

  3. Be careful, I left tear offs on my MX goggles once and forgot about them, the next time I went to use them, the tear off had bonded to the lens. Ended up having to buy a new lens.

  4. Never been stopped for a tinted visor. If it's a mixed day (sun/cloud) I find this works for me with a clear visor ......

  5. I want a new helmet but most of the choices seem to have the integral sun visor. I've always preferred to ride with a simple smoked visor (so that I'm looking through one lens and not two). On a helmet with the integral visor am I right to assume that you can just keep that locked up and replace the visor just the same?

  6. Correct.

  9. I very rarely use the dropdown visor, especially in winter as it mists up immediately.

As mentioned before, tinted visor (which I've never had a problem with plod over), with a clear tucked into my jacket in case I get caught in the dark/reduced visibility.
