  8. Not sure but they did have quiet a bit of carbon from what the dealer said - timing belt covers, front mudguard he mentioned as standard.

  9. im sure you would have seen the ad a while back but by all accounts i wanted to much! its an 08 1098 sfs engine with 207 miles on it complete with loom, tb & airbox i paid 2700 i think in 09 and its be an ornament since! but i dnt think i'll sell it anyways as i still have dreams of putting it in the 748r frame i have and dont need the cash... (this month!)

  10. 2008? They have an 1198 bottom end which wasn't out in 2008. Started manufacturing SF's in 2009 for 2010 model year I think with 1198 bottom end and 1098 top end :smile:

  16. hmmmmmmmm.....well its deffo the s with the carbon and mag casings.. i bought it in 09 off a spanking bike that had an unfortunate with a round about a week after purchase... perhaps im senile but im sure it was an 08 or 58 plate....am questioning my own sanity now....maybe i dont even have an engine:Wideyed: to dark to go to the workshop now!!!!

  18. no its the sfs engine so must be an 09.. i did buy it in 09 but thought it was an 08 or 58 but as they weren't on sale till 09 (although shown in 08) im mistaken! (wont be the first or last time!)
