  3. Absolutely wonderful. Hope you have many a good time time on it.

  4. Beautiful!

    Congratulations Simmy!!

  5. V.nice. I see they have done away with the additional support arms for the top box? Good job as my SW /Givi setup (on a 2010) doesn't have them either.

  6. Gorgeous bike - hope it keeps the smile on your face!
    Ride safe :upyeah:

  7. Very nice - if it were me I'd get the boxes sprayed up with red and white colour scheme

  8. Enjoy the new bike. I think it deserves its own category on the forum it is so different in equipment and character. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1367180944.138799.jpg

  9. Surely it's personal preference and depending on the load carried if you want to have those fitted or not?

See the picture above my post!

  10. Yes personal preference,i only use the topbox as a back rest for the pillion so there is no weight in it,but i will put on the extra bars when touring with luggage. If you have a pp and you put the full termi on the carbon is a gloss finish just use wet and dry on it and it will give you the matt look, why Ducati cant supply the exhast with a black hanger amd matt carbon heat shield is beyond me.

  11. I have thought about it but for 95% of the time the boxes will be in the garage.

  12. I was at JHP for a service last Friday (19th) too. Maybe I saw you sitting having a read of the mags around lunchtime??
Anyway, Simmy - I saw that in the crate too. Fantastic lookin bit of kit. Enjoy :upyeah:

  13. brilliant, have t say I was admiring the pike when picking up my hyper, it is a lovely looking bike bloody huge !!

    have fun

  14. Congrats :D love the colour scheme!
Can't wait to pick up my GT next week!!!

  15. Think I'd left a little before lunchtime, if the guy you saw was wearing a white Dainese 2 piece with a massive unruly mop of hair that was me.

  16. Very nice, looking forward to collecting my PP soon, just a quick question. Is the extender on the front mudguard carbon?

  17. Jim the extender is standard on th PP and it is not carbon. On a side note there are a few diffrences on the PP that are not listed on the Ducati website,
    Red frame
    Wheels
    Paint
    black bellypan
    Black footpeg hangers
    black bars and top clamp
    Fender extender
    Carbon,beak,hugger,screen,belt covers,front mudguard,intake covers
    Termi stubby with black cover
    Badges are lacquered not raised
    Red stitching to seat
    Anyone spotted any more ?
Also things to be aware of,
Most carbon accessories now come with matt or gloss finish,be aware when ordering.
Full termi system comes with a silver hanger and gloss carbon cover.

    Please add you findings.
The comfort seats off my 1st gen multi fit with no problems.

  18. Simmy, any chance of a pic of your matt look exhaust cover. Just tried it on a spare piece of glossy carbon n trashed it!

  19. Jim if you are worried about ruining the finish try some cutting compound to thke the sheen off.
