Just an update, I think I've found out why the damn thing wanted me to go east instead of west on the M4. I had "avoid toll roads" switched on, so it didn't want me to cross the bridge.
Are you sure it was only the toll it didn't want to cross the bridge for ?? (Evening Broke ) Glad you got it sorted though
