I will take some pics and post them, they werent straight forward to fit, you need to drill the bars for the handlebar controls and you cant have them all the way up under the yoke. You need to fit remote reservoirs, if you try and fit the bars under the yoke the throttle cables would need extending along with clutch line and possibly front brake line choke cable and so on, plus new bar ends. The switch gear will also catch the fairing and mirror mounts, so i left a 10-12 mm gap between the bar clamps and the top yoke. Mine are fitted so that i didnt have to replace any of the above, i got them for £150 from Design Corse LTD, i would recommend them to anyone i really would, other riser bar kits are of the fixed type, these are fitted in cams that allow the bars to be dipped at the ends or flat. Riding it is much easier on the wrists and back. I think they are about 1.5 inch higher, doesnt sound much but unbelievable in practice. 10 out of 10 in my book and well worth an afternoons modding.
Welcome to the forum. No dont get rid of it....as others have said here - keep riding for as long as you can. Im a spritely 49 and have a garage full of reasonably mental stuff....a pre aprc rsv4 factory (test riding my new m50's later on after work), Hypermotard 1100 evo sp, ktm 525 supermoto and my all round fave, a 2014 z1000. I dunno what the others think on here but for me, in my head, im still 22ish....as soon as the kids have flown the coop ill be starting my trackday life..!
