Clarkson mentioning that he drove the 928 to see his dad for the last time was quite a personal thing for him to say. I wish they didn't wreck the Mustang.
Yes mate. I know its not real. What I meant was that Clarkeson "fixing" something is a departure for the script writers. Normally these "repairs" happen to the other two and Clarkeson sticks to outlandish customising. In fact I'm surprised he hasn't fitted a toilet seat to his car yet. That's his favourite adaptation. Perhaps he'll do it in part two.
I think that some people miss the point, Top Gear is an entertainment programme, not a factual documentary or magazine. Love them or loathe them this is the 11th special, and "with the peculiar way in which the BBC is funded" I doubt that it would have lasted past a couple of series if the majority; including countries that buy it world wide thought that it was crap. For me it is excellently filmed, and shows off parts of countries that I haven't a prayer of seeing in real life; throw petrol and some cars, bikes or trucks into the mix and it makes for great viewing; certainly 1000 X better than watching so called "celebrities" trying to revive dubious long past glories, or worse still tallenless work shy's trying to become celebrities on so called talent shows. So with rant over, I thought that this one so far has the makings of a good special, can't wait for tonights show.

That's impressive to have the tools to take the casing off, although to be fair the components look pretty standard and easy to obtain. I managed to get hold of a digital storage spectrum analyser within 24 hours in Buenos Aires once.
Maybe the connector had fallen off - he could have hammered that back on perhaps - if a camera man had shown him... all the haters must be intrigued enough to watch tonight's much hyped in the news life threatening Argi attack to see how constructed the 'Argi' bargi appears to be - and they attack on motorbikes too 'Is it straight?'... 'yes, yes it is' was a funny moment about the bridge :Happy:
Interesting. When it was all going off, where were they??? Sneaky tenner says they're in the back of the box van! Definitely not driving or commenting on the state of affairs live anyway ... hidden away for 'security reasons' and why not!!! Liked the beaver hats, and gags, most amusing.
