That rear looks nice and clean, but you’ve got a few chatter marks just off from the centre of the front FWIW, when using cold setting, it’s worth remembering that April uk cold could be an 8deg tyre temp, and July Spain cold could be 30deg or higher if the bike’s been left in the sun, so the difference between hot and cold pressure could be 1psi or 6psi It’s always worth setting your pressures off the warmers, but you’d want to always reset it the moment you get in off track as that’s a good measure of how hot they’re actually running wth your pace If your warmers are putting a tyre into a90deg range, it’s possible that many riders won’t be keeping that heat into them, or conversely, some warmers will only get to 50-60deg, and a faster rider will bring that temp up to 90 It’s a bit of a minefield, but at least if you always set pressure straight off the track, you won’t be far out
What he said... IMHO.. By the look of of the phots you might be running a wee bit hot; but nothing to worry about. It's worth checking our tyres as soon as you come in. If they look ok, then leave them as they are; but at least you have a bench mark. On a double track day you'll probably be woking them a tad harder on day two; so might want to let a bit of wind out. Checking the pressure every few outings would confirm or deny that. I tend to chat to they tyre man. Ask for cold and warm pressures. I set them to cold pressure; then put warmers on and see if the come up to the warm pressures. If the two don't tally; then go for the warm pressures. Pressures on warmers are only a guide; check then as soon as you get it Bob
