Trackday Leathers

  1. That's a fair point. Personally, when it comes to leathers, I would like the suit that I choose to stretch to fit my body shape, not have it pre stretched to somebody elses. Same goes for shoes, but this of course, is just my opinion

  2. I'd buy second hand but not without trying them on first.

That said I've sold two sets of leathers on eBay and they didn't try them on. God bless 'em

  3. The OP is conspicuous in his absence of not replying to any comment on this thread. What size is he? is he a he? Is he a she? There have been a lot of offers on the thread of cheap leathers etc. Makes me wonder.......................

  4. I've bought a few bits and bobs off ebay that have not fitted and very time I have re-listed the offending item with a better title, description and photos and sold for more than I paid, so in my experience its worth a bit of trial and error.

in fact if this ipad keeps altering my fucking typing its going on ebay tomorrow 99p and no sodding reserve!

  5. The stuff I bought was identical to what I already had so I knew it would fit. Virtually new dianese race boots I got for £25 when i paid £165 for mine originally. Dianese 1 piece race suit was about £100 compared to the £1200 I paid. So worked out well for me.

  6. Yeah by all means buy new stuff at a cut down price that you know will fit, thats just good practice  Now Supertech R's size 46, searching, searching, searching

  7. Tried on an Alpinestars leather jacket on at Hein Gerike yesterday, euro 50 was a perfect fit, so I now need to trawl ebay for one half price.

  8. I've a set of Dainese Kirishima leathers (black, red & silver) worn 4/5 times & a brand new set of Alpinestars SMX leathers (blue, white & black) for sale...size UK 42 & 46 respectively! Both well over a grand, the Alpinestars were £1300. Also a matching set of new Alpinestars GP Tech gloves to match...let me know if anybody's interested!

  9. I have a set of Dainese Kirishima leathers and there is no way I am selling them. They are just so comfortable and seemingly well made. Give amazing mobility on the bike and confidence. A top purchase.

  10. They are the bollocks, so good I bought another set in the next size up as they were a better fit, hence me selling the smaller size! The Alpinestars were bought with me ordering a new blue & white bike...changed my mind after spending 2k on new gear...knob!!
