Trip To Spain

  1. Likewise! The first day we stopped at Ronda for a coffee then came back down. The following days we just fueled up at the garage as you enter Ronda then headed straight back down!
Did you get any problems with the Guardia? I was convinced they were targeting British riders!

  2. Just got back from our trip. Fantastic time! Bikes didn't let us down although mine had a couple of issues with fuel sender and abs fault lights coming on intermittently.
4 days camping in Picos then back over the Pyrenees and through France to Roscoff.

  3. Nice to see your mate is packed to the gunnels, lucky for you :)

  4. Yeah he did ok....the Kriega stuff didn't work out so he went with the Ventura system. Good bit of kit and although it looks like he'd spend most of the time on the back wheel, it was fine. He certainly proved you can tour on a Panigale.

  5. We did see bike mounted Guardia but they didn't give us any hassle. Can't say I've ever felt targeted by them. In fact I'd say it's normally the opposite. They're only checking for insurance usually, unless of course you're radically exceeding the speed limit, which is a thing that I'm sure you'd never do.

Once they discover you're British they wave you on, figuring holiday makers will be covered.

  8. No problem with petrol stations but having a sat nav definitely helped & gave us piece of mind that we had enough fuel to the next garage.
