It's a bit of an old thread now but I'd just like to say that this bike is truly the best bike I've ever owned. It really is a monster of a machine with unbelievable torque, power, handling and the design, fit and finish is exemplary. This isn't just a bike to ride, it's a bike to love, to look at and drool over hour after hour. Ride one and the memory will stay with you forever. I am NEVER selling mine, it's probably the very last of the true Ducati R's.
Opinions please ...... I am considering selling some bikes, do you think I should sell these as a pair or separately?
As a pair, two for the price of one Winter Special! Are you in the States, I guess they would be worth far more if they were in the UK!
I am not sure, that why I was seeking some advice how to approach the matter of selling them. Both are used machines, two or three trackdays per year, but both less than 8,000 miles. Full main dealer history. Not sure if it adds value but the 1198R has one previous owner a William Arthur Mountbatten-Windsor. 998 has both standard and duplicate set of Ducati carbon bodywork (R model), carbon tank and carbon wheels painted in the Bayliss design. also the paddock Stands, covers and Ducati Plaques.
Was it you having a drink in petersham road pub in Richmond today around 1pm with 2 mates? This was parked outside...
