She did 7k miles last year alone and is now at 14k miles. From the look of her she’s been an all year commuter. I’m hoping to have her mechanically fixed next week and then start on the cosmetic side of things. She still runs sweet and sounds amazing with the Austin Racing Can (good choice!) and the crash protection saved any frame or engine damage so good call on the GB racing and EP crash bungs. Never had a streetfighter but had almost every other Ducati so really looking forward to getting out on her. Had an RSV4 last year and that was amazing so I bet the tuono is a hoot! I’ll put some pics up when she’s restored!
Yes the tuono is completely mental, i found the handling on the sf very good, easy to ride..with brilliant looks, i still look at my old pics of her with affection. good luck with the rebuild mate your buying a salvage bike has made me think i should look into doing the same (winter hack) type bike as my tuono is bit of a garage queen.
My R1M was a cheap salvage project that turned into a garage queen / track weapon, hence the SF purchase Great fun, I love a salvage bargain
