I must have been stood right by you! Having an amazing week and couldn't ask for better weather or racing!
Envy you....back in the office, got my phone open on twitter, watching for updates....nice to see the sun is shining at least at Bray Hill although I think the better of the two food vans is across the road...!
I did see you a couple of times this week Dave, Tuesday night in Port Erin and riding through Douglas Thursday...I think
In hindsight I could've left some clothes at home - I came back with a pair of trousers and three t-shirts unworn - and I never used my iPad at all. Having said that there were a couple of things I didn't take that I wish I had - my PacSafe gear bags which would've enabled me to ditch my leathers during the day. The panniers were filled with sleeping mat, sleeping bag and pillow - luxury I could've bought all of them on the island but as I had them already and had the space to carry them I thought "why not" ?!? I really hardly noticed the load on the ride there and back - the suspension is so firm on the D16 that it made next to no difference - and I saw a few bikes with even more stuff bungied-on than me
This is as far as I got on the Irish ferry then had to get off again before it left Family tragedy Think im going to try the manx or theres always next year
