  4. We have made a bit more progress, fairing bracket is roughed out and the cross over shaft for the gear change is on its way. 20140408_181544_zps2quvkpdw.jpg 20140412_113107_zpssroomb6p.jpg 20140412_105359_zpsf5xbkaup.jpg

  5. Seen this on eBay
    171233556574
    F1 chassis kit for £5500

  6. i have seen the frame kits but my mates budget is half that price including buying the bike to the finished bike,if i was going down the new frame route i would make my own,the same as every thing else.

  7. Chad not dissing you at all, your skills make mine look insignificant. Was posting as you had talked about doing a kit? Just showing you the competition, I think the price for their kit is expensive, as it is fundamentally a frame, tank and exhaust system and of the shelf bodywork

  8. Thanks, yes it is expensive for wot you get and in the end ours will be a closer replica, hopefully i will get the exhaust finished tomoro and a few more bit,i will post some progress pics

  9. I sincerely hope your mate appreciates all your hard work. He's got himself a bargain given the effort you've put in so far.

  16. I used to work at Mclaren, and watching Gary the exhaust guy was just fascinating. He was the grumpiest bastard on earth sometimes, but a bloody genius with it.

  17. thanks ....its tight on the swingarm,i set the gap with a green rizla, and if your doing a replica you have to get it as close as poss to the original,i have a few pics i had to scale off.
