I’ve recently reshod the X3 and as the original Pirellis gave such a good mileage I wanted the same again. Not a hope in hell. Was quoted 6 months waiting list. Went with Michelins in the end and even then there were real problems getting the front ones.
I'm just replacing a pair of Pirelli Supercorsa V3 Tyres after 5800 miles which included 2 track days.
Are you after a supercorsa SP V3 Front? I've got a brand new one, dated 19.22 you can have for £110 posted, I paid £140 for it last week but didn't use it at the trackday.
Yeah - chatting with a mate earlier on about tyres and went looking....350 for a set of s22's (or thereabouts) 200 rear 120 front....as its the summer ive been commuting on my electric skateboard....been knicked on it once for doing 35 in a bus lane - but now ive seen the price of tyres ill be on it moreso..

Well, i got away with it that time.....essentially had to sign a bit of paper saying i knew why id been stopped....if i get my collar felt again its either 6 points or the board confiscated....now having said all of that he did say "if i was in my car i wouldnt have bothered..." and also i was on my way to work...he also said "arent you going to carry on going to work?" to which i replied no, ill just go home and get my litre gas guzzling dinosaur (z1000) - when i went past on the bike he'd nicked a taxi and a car for something....essentially he was put there to get anyone and everyone....that was a couple of months ago....now ive got my head on a swivel (spidey senses enhanced) - so a few trips home ive had to hop off of it/take an alternative route home... Just to add i dont think personal scooter/skateboard owners are being targeted....before i got knicked i crossed a pedestrian crossing right in front of the filth and they didnt give me a second look...i also see a couple of lads coming the other way every morning on their own scooters also... To me it seems like a no brainer....they should encourage it....the more people that do use their own electrical transport the less traffic, less conjestion, less fumes.....however ive seen people on scooters taking the piss, 2 up, runnng red lights, cutting across lanes in front of cars etc etc....i abide by the rules, stop at red lights, i go through i pick up the board and walk round and get back on, i slow up on junctions, slow up if im behind someone slower - all commonsense stuff.... plus its great fun...
I knew that your licence could be in jeopardy if you were on a push bike bike but didn’t realise the same applied to your device.
I understand that when you do it will be appropriately endorsed. For example under age kids joy riding.
