why the blue dot when an unread is already highlighted ?

 

@Rob unfortunately still unable to log into the web site from a desk top running Microsoft. The site loads and there is a red banner NEW by the side of every forum title. Choose either log in tabs and the block of moving dashes start and it just hangs. I've not changed anything on my desk top which logged in fine before the change. I dump cookies at browser shut down and I've done the technical "switch it off and back on" with no difference. Any ideas ? Thanks, Andy.

@Rob, I can log in from my desktop using IE10 so I'm wondering if the issue is something to do with latest up date for Firefox 15 which coincided with the forum update. Anyone else use Firefox 2015 as their default browser ? Andy
